The brochure outlines the UK Government-backed Help to Grow: Management Course, a leadership and management programme designed for small and medium-sized business leaders.

The course is aimed at business owners, senior managers and leaders of UK-based SMEs employing between 5 and 249 people, operating for at least one year. Participants must hold a leadership role with direct reports and commit to completing the programme.

It is delivered by Small Business Charter-accredited business schools and runs over 12 weeks, requiring around 50 hours of study. The structure combines online learning, in-person workshops, peer group sessions and 10 hours of one-to-one mentoring. A key outcome is the development of a tailored Growth Action Plan for each participating business.

The curriculum is organised into 12 modules covering strategy and innovation, digital transformation, marketing, organisational design, employee engagement, operations and financial management. It focuses on practical application, enabling participants to implement changes alongside their day-to-day work.

The programme is heavily subsidised, with 90% government funding, leaving a cost of £750 per participant. Evidence cited in the brochure suggests that improved management practices can increase productivity by up to 10%, and survey data indicates that 91% of participants report greater confidence in leading their business within six months.

On completion, participants retain access to ongoing support through an alumni network, including events, webinars and continued peer engagement.
